"Tea Music - Da'ak" - By the Korean Creative Music Ensemble

A multidisciplinary theatrical performance, which combines dance, art and tea ceremony with a beautiful Korean music played on traditional instruments.

These include the daegeum (a large flute), danso (a small bamboo flute),
Gayageum (a 25 string instrument), yanggeum (a zither) and geomungo ( a 6string instrument).

In Korea tea and music have a special and spiritual relationship.

Tea Music explores the intricate association between Korean music and the ancient art of tea-making.

"Lux Aeterna" – Sen Hea Ha on Ligeti's work

A new production of Korean choregrapher Sen Hea Ha based on the Ligeti's best known choral work Lux Aeterna and performed by 16 singers and 13 Javanese women.

During her stay in New York, Sen Hea Ha maintained an artistic association with Gyorgy Ligeti and got particularly inspired by his feelings and remarks about Lux Aeterna. He encouraged her to work with his music.

The production will be ready by March 2009 and promised to be a spectacular amalgamation of atmospheric choral work, spatial Javanese movements and images of a vast and impersonal landscape, just what Ligeti had in mind.

"Bangarra Dance Theatre" – Australia

Bangarra Dance Theatre is one of Australia's most unique and innovative dance companies. Its living traditions go back at least 40,000 years but it also reflects the lives and attitudes of Indigenous people today. The company blends traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture with international contemporary dance to create a truly Australian dance language.

Under the Artistic Direction of Stephen Page since 1991, Bangarra has thrilled audiences across Australia with electric, startling and inherently spiritual dance works of immense theatrical presence.
